Toronto Sisterhood: Connecting Cultures, Building Unity

Objective: To connect girls aged 11-17 from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds within Toronto/GTA to promote intercultural understanding, respect, and unity, while celebrating the city’s rich diversity and fostering leadership.

Community Service Project: (Age 11-17) (Virtual and Inperson)

Objective: To instill a sense of social responsibility, community engagement and collaboration for a common goal.

The Big Sisters, Little Sisters Mentorship Program (Grades 5-8)

Empower, Support, Inspire!

The Big Sisters, Little Sisters Mentorship Program is a unique opportunity for young girls to connect, grow, and thrive in a supportive sisterhood. This initiative pairs girls in grades 5 and 6 (Little Sisters) with positive role models from grades 7 and 8 (Big Sisters), fostering meaningful connections that build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills.

The Big Sisters, Little Sisters High School Transition Program (Grade 8-9)

Empower, Guide, and Lead!

The Big Sisters, Little Sisters High School Transition Program is a unique mentorship initiative designed to support Grade 8 students as they prepare for the exciting (but sometimes overwhelming!) transition to high school. Unlike traditional school-led transition programs, this initiative creates a peer-driven support system, where Grade 9 students (Big Sisters) offer guidance, reassurance, and real-life advice to incoming Grade 8 students (Little Sisters).

Navigating the Teen Years with Confidence and Connection

Our “Navigating the Teen Years” workshop empowers parents of teen girls (11-17) with essential tools and strategies. Over interactive sessions, parents learn to understand teen development, understand today’s teen culture, improve communication, set boundaries, manage digital life, and build their daughters’ resilience. Activities and reflections foster practical skills and deeper connections. By the end, parents are equipped to create supportive, nurturing environments and confidently guide their teens through adolescence. Girls of Destiny Canada: "Girl Talk Circles Monthly"

Program Overview: “Girl Talk Circles Monthly” is a year-long empowerment program designed for middle school girls (ages 11-17). These monthly gatherings provide a transformative space for personal growth, leadership development, and community building. Each session introduces a unique theme, fostering continuous self-discovery and empowering girls to voice their experiences and share insights.
